Swedish manufacturer of solar roofs Midsummer increased order intake of its discrete and sustainable solar roofs by 26.5 percent in the first quarter of this year compared with the same period last year. Also in the quarter, long term agreements for the sale of solar panels worth more than EUR 100m were signed.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Order intake for the business area Solar Roofs in the first quarter of this year amounted to SEK 12.5 million, an increase of just over 26 percent from the same period last year. Invoicing of solar roofs for the quarter amounted to SEK 6.2 million, up 77 percent compared with the first quarter of 2021.<\/p>

Midsummer manufactures and installs solar roofs of the SLIM, WAVE and BOLD models. The solar roofs consist of solar panels that are thin, light, discreet and with a minimal climate footprint compared to traditional solar panels.<\/p>

In the first quarter, Midsummer also signed two deals worth a combined EUR 103.5 million (approximately SEK 1.07 billion) with the Italian roof manufacturers Unimetal and PugliAsfalti. Deliveries to these customers will be made from Midsummer's Italian factory, which is expected to start production at the turn of 22\/23. The five-year deals are reported separately from order intake until these orders are assigned to specific projects.<\/p>
